Juan Talks: White Water Tubing, Maitum, Sarangani Adventure!

It's a fun extreme adventure experience like no other! The Pangi River is a prominent tourist attraction in Region 12. It is well-known for its clean water and peaceful atmosphere.

White water tubing is a fun water activity that is also safe, as they provide life vests and helmets. There would also be water tubing companions for the duration of your ride. If you genuinely want to appreciate this adventure, go for the 2.1Km for only P350. You'll get a life jacket and helmet, a river guide, and the ultimate ride gear: the interior of massive tires.

To start the water tubing activity, a specific person will be distributing small pieces of paper. Guides determine their assignments through draw lots, and there is also one guide per person.

Picnic tables are P150, and open cottages are P200. After getting ready, you head upstream to the shallow portion of the river for a briefing. There's a 1.6-kilometer ride across rocks and white water from there.

The rainy season is the best time to visit because the water currents are more robust. Before the big rapids, there are a few brief breaks. This is why it is best to make the journey as a group. You don't have to be concerned because they have another guide exclusively responsible for taking photographs; hand over your cellphone or camera, and you can be confident that they will capture your goofy moments. We altogether experience the fun and wild adventure.

We hoped we could stay longer to explore more of Maitum, Sarangani. If I had time and budget, I'd return to this place. The tourist spots and attractions look promising, making me want to explore more of the site. We had a great water tubing experience, and it is worth trying.
